Where do the raw materials come from? Why isn't everything certified organic?

Our products are natural and of food quality. We try to source the raw materials from countries where they grow naturally. However, the quality of the raw materials is our top priority here. We also have to take into account factors such as the overall global market situation and harvest successes. If a raw material is produced in several countries, EU law stipulates that the country of origin is the country in which the last significant processing step took place. This does not necessarily mean that the respective plant was also grown in this country. However, we are only allowed to label the country of origin as stipulated by EU law.

Whenever possible and sensible, we purchase raw materials in organic quality. Many of our plant extracts are often not available in organic quality, as they are standardized to certain vitamin and mineral contents - this means that the extract must always have a constant vitamin or mineral content, which is constantly checked in order to be able to guarantee you the respective advertised content. So you get a safe product.
