Should the Omega 3 capsules be consumed together with fatty foods in order for them to be effective?

There is currently no scientific consensus on the best time to take omega 3 capsules.
However, it is clear that taking them with a meal is much better.
So take the capsules together with a (high-fat) meal to maximise the absorption of the fatty acids.
Taking them on an empty stomach is less effective in comparison.
