Is the oil for the Omega 3 algae oil produced using the Omega Safe process?

Omega Safe and the Oxyguard process are patented methods for extracting oil from oilseeds such as linseed. The production of Omega 3 algae oil from microalgae such as Schizochytrium algae is a different process, which is why this process is not applicable or transferable.
We can guarantee, for example, that our oil is produced at low temperatures to exclude air and light. This is backed up by our external laboratory analysis of the oil. We have examined the fatty acid profile of the product, which provides a very good overview of the quality of the oil.
All unsaturated fatty acids, including omega 3 fatty acids, are very sensitive to light, air and temperature. However, linseed oil in particular tends to go rancid (= oxidize) very quickly, which is probably why the above-mentioned processing techniques were developed.
To ensure that your product retains its high quality for as long as possible, it is always advisable to store the product in a cool, dark place in the refrigerator.
