Niacin is the collective term for various compounds: nicotinic acid and nicotinamide, as well as compounds derived from them. The niacin form nicotinamide is well tolerated, whereas high amounts of nicotinic acid tend to lead to side effects such as vasodilation with flushing symptoms. This is why dietary supplements with nicotinamide as a source of niacin often have the label "well tolerated" or "flush free". 1 capsule of vitamin B3 provides you with 32 mg NE niacin (200% NRV) 1 capsule of vitamin B complex provides you with 19.2 mg NE niacin (120% NRV)
In relation to the amount of vitamin B3 it contains, the monoproduct is "more effective".
