In a classic “colon cleanse”, the entire intestine is emptied using enemas or laxatives such as Glauber's salt, Epsom salts or psyllium seeds. It is usually part of an intestinal cleanse and often serves as an introduction to a fasting cure.
Our Inno Intestinal Cure is not comparable to this and takes a much gentler approach. The native chicory inulin it contains contributes to normal bowel function by increasing stool frequency. The intestinal microbiome is not negatively affected.
