Why do the magnesium capsules contain magnesium oxide and not, for example, magnesium citrate?

Magnesium oxide (compared to magnesium citrate) is absorbed slowly and evenly by the body.
It is well tolerated and is suitable for a sustainable and long-term supply
and for building up magnesium stores.
Magnesium citrate, on the other hand, is absorbed more quickly by the body and provides a short-term supply.
