The algae oil for our Omega 3 capsules is extracted from microalgae (Schizochytrium sp.) under controlled conditions in specially designed plants. As a result, the algae naturally contain no measurable environmental toxins. It can therefore be said that Omega 3 oils from microalgae are less contaminated than those from fish. To be on the safe side, we regularly test our products in independent laboratories for PAHs, heavy metals, microbiology and content. You can find the certificate of analysis on our store page.
